Ministries
YFC accomplishes its mission through these local ministry programs.
Campus Life is a combination of healthy relationships and creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to connect Christ-following adult leaders with young people wherever they are in life and share the life-changing message of Jesus with them. Girl Talk and 1:21 are gender specific groups that provide a safe place for students to be themselves, ask questions, and grow in their spiritual lives.
Parent Life reaches pregnant and parenting teens and their children with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Through intentional relationships with trained adults and community partnerships teens are encouraged to further their education, move toward independent living and become life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
JJM seeks to engage young people as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters). These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they reenter their communities.
Catalyst is a cutting edge ministry to the youth in the Hip-hop culture. This community of youth is defined by 4 sub-cultures: Emcees, Breakers, Graffiti Writers and DJs. Catalyst provides a safe place for these young people to grow in their arts while challenging them to grow spiritually.
